Yuba Trails Stewardship has a vision of bringing the community together to create and maintain trails throughout Nevada County. To help the Stewardship get off the ground, we have two AmeriCorps members who have committed to serving with us for the next 11 months. Alex and Sydney started their service term with us in October through the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Program. We expect our AmeriCorps members to be an enormous help to us accomplish the Yuba Trails Stewardship’s mission of bringing the Nevada County community together to have fun while creating and maintaining trails. So far our AmeriCorps members have been thinking of cool ways for interested community members to become involved, as well as creating swag designs.
